Jophira Tin Tin is a chain of Tin Tin Homestays which are located in Bungus Bay. It takes around 35 minutes by boat from Bungus to the Island. This is a new resort with nice white sandy beaches. It is a great place to relax as the area is still in its natural state. There is plenty of activities to do on this island from juggle tracking, to fishing and bird watching. There are private beaches for swimming, snorkeling or just sunbathing in the heat of the sun.
Gold island is named after its golden beach, the island has now a resort named “Suwarnadwipa Beach & Resort”, located in the southern coastal capital city of Padang, West Coast of Sumatra. The waters around Gold island are extremely calm and clear, the island is surrounded by other beautiful islands close by, Sikuai, Pagang Island, Pamutusan, and Pasumpahan. Suwarnadwipa is the nickname for the island of Sumatra, it is a Sanskrit word which means Island of Gold or Suwarnabhumi or ground shine. The main building of the island is adapted from the roof shape “bagonjong” which is typical of traditional Minangkabau house the “House Tower”.
